Installation Notes:

• Maximum permissible overpressure is 2000kpa (20 bar). The surrounding system shall be designed in such a way that potential pressure peaks in the system do not exceed the permissible overpressure of the sensor.
• Attention especially needs to be paid to hydraulic effects like cavitation and dynamic pressure shocks. Prevention of cavitation at the sensor shall be ensured in each operating state.

Please note;

The application advice has recently been revised for this sensor. This change is aimed at limiting damage to the sensor which can be caused by fluid cavitation. As a result, Bosch have issued new guidance to minimise the sensor’s exposure to potential sources of cavitation and have clarified that the validated fluid list does not include water/coolant, which is significantly more susceptible to cavitation than other fluids. Other potential contributors to cavitation are proximity to pumps, flow restrictions, inadequate fluid supply, etc.
